Kraken the Glass Ceiling: How Alexandra Mandrycky has defied the odds

Alexandra Mandrycky became Assistant General Manager of the Seattle Kraken. She started her career as an analyst for the Minnesota Wild. The Wild improved from 38 wins in her first season to 49 and 45 wins the following two years. After leaving Minnesota, she took over the fledgling analytical department of Seattle's new team. Ron Francis and Kraken ownership saw something in Mandyckie back then. She is one of three 1A's in the Kraken front office. Rick Olczyk and Jason Botterill are the other two. They are supporting roles to Francis himself.
