Ryan Blaney was fourth in COTA and sixth in Sonoma. He has three straight Top-6 results on the season.

Hendrick Motorsports won last week in Nashville. Joe Gibbs Racing and Toyota combined to lead 253 of 300 laps that night in the same race. Trackhouse Racing has won both road races this season.

Six of the Top 9 drivers belong to HMS and JGR. HMS had won nine of last 11 road course races by themselves. This season they finished 2-4-12-29 in COTA and 8-9-15-16 at Sonoma. Toyota didn't have a single driver in the top 17 at the Sonomans.

86% of the race last year was run under green flag conditions.
