Kyle Harrison selected as SF Giants minor leaguer of the year
Kyle Harrison has been selected as the Giants minor league player of the year. He recorded a 2.71 ERA between the High-A and Double-a affiliates. Harrison was the only Giants prospect to play in this summer's Futures Game. He was voted the best pitching prospect in the Eastern League earlier this month. Baseball America believes he has three plus pitches in his arsenal. The left-handed pitcher is 21 years old. It will be interesting to see if he gets a chance to compete for a spot in a big-league rotation next year at spring training.
