Life Is Good won the Dirt Mile at the Breeders' Cup. It was the third World Championships race of the card. The Todd Pletcher-trained colt was 3-5 odds. He defeated his closest rival, Ginobili, by 5 3/4 lengths. Restrainedvengence finished third. It's Ortiz's third Breeder's Cup win of 2021. His 14th overall. P Fletcher's 12th BreedERS' Cups victory. Life Is good is out of a mare bred in Kentucky by Gary and Mary West. Ginubili finished second, Restrainvenger third, and Eight Rings fourth.
Richard Baltas' horse Ginobili finished second in the Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile. Drayden Van Dyke's horse Drayser was second. Trainer Val Brinkerhoff's Restrainedvengence finished third. The winner was just too good. The jockey Edwin Maldonado's third horse ran well.
