In the feline duel of the weekend, we got a match full of emotions and goals at the Estadio Universitario as Tigres steamrolled Pumas. The latter fought through the game but simply couldn’t match a team that’s better men by men.

Pierre Gignac was decisive once again and keeps being a crucial part of the scheme, even at this 37 years of age. A double from the french striker and the first goal by the star arrival Ibañez, alongside an own-goal, sealed another victory for the favorites of this edition of Liga MX.
