The New York Knicks have been in a bit of a rut as they've lost four of their past six games and they will be hoping for a better performance after getting blown out by the Clippers in a 144-122 road loss on Saturday. Julius Randle and Jalen Brunson scored 22 points each while Donte DiVincenzo and RJ Barrett scored 18 points each. As a team, the Knicks shot 46 percent from the field and 11 of 35 from the 3-point line, but they just had no answer for the Clippers' duo of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George who torched them for a combined 61 points on 23 of 34 shooting.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Lakers have been in decent shape as they've won five of their last seven games overall, but they will be looking to bounce back in this one after getting humbled by the struggling Spurs in a 129-115 road defeat on Friday. LeBron James led the team with 23 points, seven rebounds and 14 assists, Austin Reaves added 22 points with seven rebounds and four assists, Rui Hachimura scored 20 points while Christian Wood chipped in with 17 points. As a team, the Lakers shot 48 percent from the field and 11 of 36 from the 3-point line as they just weren't switched on from the start and were always fighting an uphill battle after allowing the Spurs to pour in 42 points in the first quarter. To be fair, the Lakers were without Anthony Davis and they showed some fight to cut a 25-point deficit to just six points before the Spurs finished with a flurry.

The Knicks are still without the injured Mitchell Robinson, while the Lakers are keeping eyes on Anthony Davis, LeBron James and Christian Wood who are all questionable for this one. The Knicks are coming into this one with a lack of form, but they could get lucky here if the Lakers' Davis or James isn't able to suit up here. Be sure to check the lineups before tipoff, but as it stands, I'm more interested in taking the Knicks with the points in what should be a close contest.
