Luke Littler thrashed Brendan Dolan 5-1 in the Darts Word Championship on New Year’s Day to seal a historic semi-final spot.

The 16-year-old will face Rob Cross today in his first-ever campaign as he continues to shock the sports world with his sensational performances.

Darts fans may be beginning to think it could be the Englishman’s year after legend Michael van Gerwen was dumped out by Scott Williams in yesterday’s quarter-final.

Littler will face Rob Cross this evening, the 33-year-old won the tournament back in 2018 and followed it up a year later with a win at the World Matchplay tournament.

Littler and Cross will go head to head in the first game of the semi-finals at 7.30 this evening in Alexandra Palace.
