Magic training camp countdown: Paolo Banchero, Caleb Houstan

Orlando Magic training camp starts Tuesday at their new AdventHealth Training Center. Part one of a five-part series focuses on the Magic's shooting woes.

Paolo Banchero and Caleb Houstan were drafted by the Orlando Magic. Banchro was the top pick in June's NBA draft. He is expected to be a go-to player for the Magic and is the preseason favorite to win Rookie of the Year. Houstans was drafted as the second-round pick.  Jamahl Mosley is impressed with Bachro's mind more than his physical gifts. The coach believes he will be able to get to the basket and punish defenses. It's not a selfish gift. Once he gets there, teams are going to start collapsing. and he has the mentality to find the open man.

Gary Harris' injury could open up playing time for Caleb Houstan. Banchero's rookie season is about understanding the league and getting comfortable in the game. The Magic are preparing for training camp. They are also preparing their G League affiliate, Lakeland Magic.
