They will be fifth this season, with the New York Rangers, Carolina Hurricanes, Pittsburgh Penguins and Islanders ahead of them. Alex Ovechkin is a lock for 40 goals again. New Jersey Devils, Islanders, Columbus Blue Jackets and New Zealand Devils should all be better than they were last year. New Rangers will regress a lot this year, but some experts are high on them going into the season and they will improve. The Atlantic Division should improve as well. Senators, Sabres and Red Wings should get better.
