Man Utd could move for Toney

Manchester United, Tottenham and Chelsea could all be in the market for Ivan Toney, with suggestions the Brentford striker is looking to move as he considers a change of agent.

The Sun writes: “The England international striker is thought to be considering whether to join the huge stable of top players at CAA Stellar.

“And that would be regarded as a sign that Toney is also preparing for a transfer to a new club, perhaps even before his eight-month suspension for betting offences runs out in January.

“Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester United are among the clubs to have been linked with the 27-year-old, who has two years left on his current Bees deal.

“Toney has enjoyed a successful relationship with agent Simon Kennedy and still appears on the website of Kennedy’s company, Pinnacle Sports and Entertainment Limited.”

Martial could move to Saudi Arabia

The Mirror looks at Anthony Martial and his different options, with a year left on his current deal at Manchester United.

The paper asks: “So, what now for Martial? Eight years at Old Trafford have passed by and ultimately, the France ace has failed to live up to the excitement and expectation that greeted his arrival.

“Out of contract this time next year, this summer presents United's last chance to try and recoup some cash for Martial and it looks increasingly like that is what they will do. Just where he ends up, however, is an entirely different problem.

“He has been linked with a Premier League stay via a move to Aston Villa, but it seems as if a number of Saudi clubs are now leading the charge for his signature. Were United to sign Atalanta striker Ramsus Hojlund and place Martial further down the pecking order, it would all but seal his Old Trafford exit.”

Galatasaray make huge Zaha offer

Galatasaray have joined the race to sign Wilfried Zaha on a free transfer and will offer him a huge contract to get their man.

“Galatasaray are pushing to sign free agent Wilfried Zaha,” the Mail says.

“The Turkish champions are hoping to tempt forward Zaha with a contract offer worth around £8 million-a-year.

“Zaha is available on a free after allowing his Crystal Palace contract to expire, though he has continued to train at his hometown club as he recovers from the hamstring injury that brought a premature end to his 22/23 season.

“Zaha, 30, has been the subject of interest and enquiries from clubs in Saudi Arabia, Paris Saint-Germain, Napoli, Lazio and Galatasaray’s rivals Fenerbahce.”

Fulham set to land two defenders

While Fulham are rumoured to be close to losing both Marco Silva and Aleksandar Mitrovic to Saudi Arabia, they are closing in on two new defenders.

The Telegraph states: “Fulham are set to spend more than £30 million on two new centre-backs as they close in on deals for Southampton’s Mohammed Salisu and Ajax’s Calvin Bassey.

“‌It is understood that Fulham are close to an agreement with Southampton over their swoop for Salisu, who will cost more than £15 million.

“And the London club are also in advanced talks over an £18 million deal to sign Bassey, a Nigeria international, from Ajax.

“Fulham’s move to strengthen their defence comes amid ongoing uncertainty over the futures of both Marco Silva and Aleksandar Mitrovic, who are wanted by Saudi Arabian clubs.”
