Last year, pictures went viral showing the women’s post-season tournament vastly underfunded compared to its male counterpart. This year the tournament is unified under a collective "March March" banner. The women're tournament continues Friday, March 25, in Spokane. The men's tournament has been called "NCAA Women's Tournament" for years. Some say the difference in title embodied years of favorable treatment towards male players and teams. It is hoped that more equal treatment may follow.
