Marnus Labuschagne's reaction to Bazball's inclusion in Collins Dictionary is brutal

The current England test cricket team's style of approaching matches is often called 'Bazball' for their aggressive outlook on the pitch.

The English team took this approach to Test cricket ever since former New Zealand wicket-keeper and star batsman Brendan McCullum took charge of the team as the head coach.

Known for his explosive batting during his playing days, McCullum inculcated a similar approach in the English cricket team once he took charge of them as their head coach.

McCullum's philosophy in Test cricket is quite different from the format's traditional approach where batsmen take time to build their innings.

The Kiwi, on the other hand, believes in explosive and aggressive batting with a higher run rate with the ultimate objective being getting results from Test matches contrary to the traditional approach where matches end in ties.

While some have found England McCullum's approach entertaining and consider it good for the future of Test cricket as it has an entertainment value, the purists consider it to be an abomination and unnecessary risk-taking.

'Bazball' included in Collins Dictionary

Despite the approach having several critiques across the globe, the famous Collins Dictionary decided to include the term into their book.

'Bazball' in Collins dictionary now officially means, A style of Test cricket in which the batting side attempts to gain the initiative by playing in highly aggressive manner.
