Maryland Basketball: Big Ten media poll released, can Terps surpass expectations?

Maryland is expected to finish 10th in the Big Ten this season. The team has some quality returners and some proven incoming transfers, but also a lot of question marks. Last year's team finished in a tie for eighth place. Kevin Willard's first season as coach is going to be tough. He likes his team. He thinks they have enough home games to get some good momentum. They play a similar schedule to Brenda Frese's. It's possible they won't be smooth in November and early December. But he's not worried about that.
