Jim McIngvale owns Gallery Furniture. He has been betting on sports events for years. His business grew by 40% last year. During this year's NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, he bet $5.5 million on Kansas and offered a full refund to customers who spent $3,000 or more on certain types of mattresses and furniture. The business is booming. He will refund all of his customers on April 24 and make a profit of $500,00. In 2019, Gallery had $164 million in revenue. It was started by McIngevale and his wife Linda in 1981.
