Mavericks coach Jason Kidd: 'Josh Green is going to get paid'
Josh Green was selected 18th overall by the Dallas Mavericks in the 2020 NBA Draft. On Monday night, Green scored 16 points, four rebounds, five assists and two steals in 32 minutes of action in Dallas' 130-111 win over the Phoenix Suns. According to some NBA betting sites, the Mavericks have the 11th-best odds to win the championship in 2023.
Josh Green scored 23 points in 31 minutes in the Mavericks' 98-97 loss to the Denver Nuggets on Nov. 20. Jason Kidd believes a new contract is on the horizon for Josh Green. Green signed a four-year, $13.64 million contract with Dallas in November 2021. The Mavs exercised his $4,765,339 team option for the 2023-24 season back in October.
