Mavericks vs. Lakers prediction: NBA odds, picks, best bets

The Dallas Mavericks look to get back on track following a pair of losses to Sacramento and Milwaukee.

On Wednesday night, the Mavs face the Los Angeles Lakers, who own a 7-1 home record on the season.

The Lakers play with no rest tonight after beating the Jazz by 32 points on Tuesday.

Anthony Davis posted 26 points and 16 rebounds for L.A., while LeBron James was limited to 17 points following 35- and 37-point outputs in the previous two games.

Cam Reddish left the game with a groin injury and only played 5 minutes. As of this writing, his status for tonight’s game is unknown.

(10:30 p.m. ET.)

Los Angeles has hit the under in four consecutive games while cashing the under in two opportunities on the second leg of a back-to-backs.

The Mavericks have put up a 4-1 SU/ATS record as a road favorite this season, including victories at New Orleans and Orlando.

Luka Doncic is averaging nearly 30 points per game for Dallas, while Kyrie Irving has topped the 35-point mark in two of his last three road contests.

The Mavs have had their way with the Lakers lately, winning three of four matchups last season, including two close victories in Los Angeles.

In the most recent meeting last March, Dallas outlasted Los Angeles, 111-110 as four-point underdogs, but Doncic and James each sat out the game.

Let’s back Dallas here as a road favorite to knock off Los Angeles.
