Michigan star Blake Corum to undergo knee surgery, out for the season

Blake Corum is having knee surgery and will miss the rest of the season for the Michigan Wolverines. The junior running back is a Doak Walker finalist. Michigan is the No. 2 team in the Big-10 and is preparing for a likely College Football Playoff appearance.

Donovan Edwards impressed in place of Blake Corum last week against Ohio State. Michigan is playing Purdue in the conference championship on Saturday. The team is 16.5-point underdogs. They are likely to be in College Football Playoff. Blake is out for the season with a knee injury.
