Milwaukee Brewers 2020: Scouting, Projected Lineup, Season Prediction

Milwaukee Brewers lost Yasmani Grandal and Mike Moustakas to free agency. The team won the National League Wild Card Game last October. There are 13 players on the 40-man roster who weren't with the organization on that fateful night at Nationals Park. Christian Yelich was the 2019 NL MVP runner-up.

Craig Counsell's team made it to the playoffs in both 2018 and 2019. The Brewers will need to change their strategy heading into 2020 due to new rules. The team will have to have a 26-man roster and a maximum of 14 pitchers. They will be limited to 13 pitchers through Aug. 31 and 14 from Sept. 1 through the end of the regular season. There will only be a 28-player roster. Last year the team had 20 pitchers and 38 players.

Brett Anderson and Eric Lauer are expected to start the season in the rotation. Randy Wolf and Chris Narveson will be the team's opening pitchers. Brent Suter has 34 career starts under his belt. Corey Knebel is recovering from Tommy John surgery. He could be back on the mound sometime in May.
