The Milwaukee Bucks will begin their second half of the season on the road where they will take on the Minnesota Timberwolves.  The last time these two teams played was just before the All-Star break, where Minnesota commandingly defeated the Bucks with a score of 129-105.

The spread for tonight’s matchup is set at 4.5 points in favor of the Timberwolves.  Khris Middleton has been ruled out for tonight’s matchup with an ankle injury and Pat Connaughton (knee) is listed as probable.  Minnesota has no injury designations for the contest currently.

Anthony Edwards, who was nominated as an All-Star this season is favored to go over his points total in tonight’s matchup.  Edwards just missed this line in their last matchup versus Milwaukee, dropping 26 points shooting 9-20 from the field.

Before the All-Star break, Edwards put up back-to-back performances of 41 and 34 points.  Edwards is the clear first option as ball handler and the Bucks give up the 4th most points per game in the NBA to shooting guards.

Damian Lillard took home some hardware during this year’s All-Star weekend in Indianapolis.  Winning the 3-Point Contest on Saturday night and following it up with a 39-point performance in the All-Star game, which won him MVP.  Lillard did not play in the last game versus Minnesota, but has hit this line throughout his career in the last 7 matchups.  Lillard to go over 23.5 points holds value in tonight’s contest.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Over 6.5 Assists (-105 on DraftKings Sportsbook)

Giannis Antetokounmpo, who also started alongside Lillard at the All-Star game is favored to go over his assists line in tonight’s game.  In the last matchup, Antetokounmpo was held to just 17 points and 7 assists.  With 3-time Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert clogging the paint, the Timberwolves allow the 4th least points to power forwards per game.  Look for Antetokounmpo to drive and kick to open teammates in tonight’s contest.
