MLB odds, lines, picks: Advanced computer model includes Red Sox in parlay for Friday that would pay more than 8-1

The surprising Baltimore Orioles (21-10) get a chance to prove their mettle Friday night when they take on the Atlanta Braves (22-10) as part of a 15-game MLB schedule. After losing more than 100 games in 2019 and 2021, the Orioles barely topped .500 last season. Now they have the third most victories in MLB, behind the Braves and Tampa Bay Rays (26-6). They start a three-game series Friday night at 7:20 p.m. ET in Atlanta. The Padres vs. Dodgers rivalry also gets rolling again as part of Friday night's slate, as San Diego hosts Los Angeles in the first of six meetings over the next 10 days.

The Braves are -210 favorites (risk $210 to win $100) in Orioles vs. Braves, while Baltimore is priced at +175 (risk $100 to win $175) in the latest MLB odds from Caesars Sportsbook. The over/under for total runs scored is 8.5. (See up-to-date lines for every game on our MLB odds page.)

There are 14 other games on the Friday MLB schedule, meaning numerous possibilities for wagers. If you combine your favorite picks into a parlay you can really cash in. Before you make any MLB picks or parlays for Friday's games, make be sure you see the predictions and betting advice from SportsLine's proven computer model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every MLB game 10,000 times. It went 331-285 on top-rated MLB money-line picks (+357) over the past two seasons, and it is on a 28-22 run dating back to the end of last season. Anybody who has followed it has seen profitable returns.

Now, the model has set its sights on the MLB schedule for Friday and has generated a four-leg parlay that would pay more than 8-1! The parlay doesn't start until 7:05 p.m. ET, giving you plenty of time to make your MLB picks.

We can tell you that one of the picks is the Red Sox +1.5 on the run line (-160) against the Phillies, with Boston covering in almost 70% of its simulations. But the model has three other picks, including an underdog that is winning in almost 60% of simulations! You ABSOLUTELY need to see them before locking in any MLB picks of your own.
