The biggest story in baseball right now is if the NY Yankees can choke their AL East divisional lead away.

Houston Astros moved up to second place in the MLB Power Rankings this week. The Yankees have struggled recently and are now in a similar position to the Astros. The Astros have the same expected slugging percentage as the Yankees.
Texas Rangers moved up to 16th place in this week's MLB Power Rankings. They have a series with Toronto Blue Jays and Tampa Bay Rays down the stretch. Their pitching is better than the Toronto Jays. The team has a lower expected slugging percentage than Minnesota Twins, St. Louis Cardinals, and Seattle Mariners.
Baltimore Orioles dropped to 19th place in this week's MLB Power Rankings. They have dropped two of their last three games and have issues with their middle relief. After Cleveland, they have three straight series against teams with a higher wOBA percentage.
Seattle Mariners dropped one spot this week. They have a half-game lead over the Toronto Blue Jays, who hold the final Wild Card spot. Milwaukee and Minnesota have better batting peripherals and some expected pitching numbers.
