MLB scores: Alex Cobb leads Giants past Braves 3-2

The San Francisco Giants beat the Atlanta Braves 3-2. Alex Cobb started the game and pitched seven scoreless innings. The Braves' pitcher, Spencer Strider, is the best in the National League. Willie Calhoun made his debut for the Giants. The Giants have a very good offense. They scored three runs against Striders. It's the second time this year they have done that. He's a good pitcher. But the odds of a team with a better offense finding success against him are higher than a mediocre one. For example, the Braves have better odds than the San Fransisco Giants with mediocre players.

Zack Littell was called on to pitch the eighth for Gabe Kapler. He allowed a double, a single, walked a batter and a couple of runs. The score was 3-2 and there were two men on with no outs. Gabe called a left-handed pitcher.

Duane Kuiper is a blessing. Kapler and Littell said the right things. Scott Alexander came in and got out of the inning. The Giants won the game 3-2.
