MLB World Series Odds Power Rankings: Braves Rising, Rays Falling

Multiple MLBteams have been finding consistent success, but the Baltimore Orioles and Los Angeles Dodgers have been doing the most climbing up the World Series odds board of late.

Stay ahead of the game and elevate your sports betting experience with SportsGridandour dailyMLB picks.

1. Atlanta Braves +280 (Last week: +290)

The Atlanta Braves hold the best record in baseball and the best run differential at +212. With eight victories over their last ten games, the Braves have continued to see their World Series odds bet down from +290 to +280 as the favorites.

2. Los Angeles Dodgers +350 (Last week: +340)

The Los Angeles Dodgers might have had their eleven-game win streak snapped, but they followed that up with two more victories and continued to extend their leading in the NL West to 11.5 games. The Dodgers’ odds of winning the World Series took a slight hit from +340 to +350.

3. Houston Astros +700 (Last week: +550)

After a troublesome series over the weekend against the Seattle Mariners, the Houston Astros have lost three straight games and six of their last ten. As a result, their World Series odds have taken a slight dive from +550 to +700.

4. Texas Rangers +800 (Last week: +750)

Four straight losses for the Texas Rangers haven’t done them any favors in what’s now a very tightly contested three-team race in the AL West. The Rangers’ odds of winning the Fall Classic have taken a slight hit and dropped off from +750 to +800.

5. Baltimore Orioles +900 (Last week: +1300)

The Baltimore Orioles have won three straight games and seven of their last ten. The O’s lead the AL East and continue occupying the top seed in the American League. The oddsmakers are fully buying into this group now and have seen their World Series odds rise from +1300 to +900 over the last week.

6. Tampa Bay Rays +1200 (Last week: +1000)

Even with a lot of things going wrong for the Tampa Bay Rays, they’ve still been able to win six of their last ten games. Despite that nice stretch of play, the Rays’ World Series odds have continued to drop for the third consecutive week from +1000 to +1200.

7. (Tie) Philadelphia Phillies +2000 (Last week: +1700)

The Philadelphia Phillies still reside in the National League’s top wild-card spot after a middling 5-5 stretch. Philadelphia’s odds of winning the World Series have taken a hit over the last week from +1700 to +2000.

7. (Tie) Toronto Blue Jays +2000 (Last week: +2100)

Two straight victories and a series win over the Cincinnati Reds has the Toronto Blue Jays only a half-game behind the Seattle Mariners for the AL’s final wild-card spot. The Blue Jays’ odds of winning the World Series have risen slightly from +2100 to +2000.

9. Seattle Mariners +2300 (Last week: +3300)

After sweeping the Houston Astros over the weekend, the Seattle Mariners have now won six straight games and occupy the final wild-card spot in the American League. The M’s also trail the Astros by just a half-game, along with the AL West-leading Rangers by three. Seattle’s odds of winning the Fall Classic have skyrocketed from +3300 to +2300.

10. Minnesota Twins +2500 (Last week: +2600)

Without much of any competition in the AL Central, the Minnesota Twins have continued to sit amongst the top ten World Series favorites. The Twins sit six games clear of the Cleveland Guardians and have seen their World Series odds rise from +2600 to +2500.
