Moana Pasifika sign Hurricanes halfback as off-season raid continues
Moana Pasifika have signed Jonathan Taumateine from the Hurricanes. Taamatein played for the Chiefs between 2017 and 2019. He will play for Moana in the inaugural Super Rugby Pacific next year. Joe Apikotoa has signed for them after playing for Chiefs earlier this year and Azelo Tuitavuki for Hawke's Bay. Titavuku played 50 NPC matches for Wellington and Ordizia RE between 2015 and 2018. He is also a member of Hawkes Bay's squad. The 23-year-old wing will compete for a starting spot.
Moana Pasifika has signed for 2022 Super Rugby Pacific. Joe Apikotoa, Sekope Kepu, Tau Koloamatangi, Ezekiel Lindenmuth, Isi Tu’ungafasi, Ray Niuia, Luteru Tolai, Don Lolo, Mike McKee, Alex McRobbie, Veikoso Poloniati are also signed.
Loose forwards are Solomone Funaki, Lotu Inisi, Jack Lam, Amanda Motuga, Sam Slade, Henry Time-Stowers and Sione Tu’ipulotu.
