Matt Tripp and Lachlan Murdoch are launching their own sports betting start-up called BetR. Tripper bought SportsBet last week. Five employees quit in a day to join BetMakers. The new company hopes to be taking bets by Spring Carnival. The company is backed by Tekkorp Capital and News Corp. It will promote itself through its papers, Foxtel and Kayo.
Isaac Levido was drafted by Bojo after helping Scott Morrison win an election in 2019. He was credited with helping Boris Johnson win the election last week. GQ magazine had called him "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" and put him on their list of 50 most influential people in Britain. Levidowas PR shop Fleetwood Strategy flourished thanks to lucrative government contracts.
Patrick has rebranded himself as "Transparency Warrior" and launched a website to help people file FOI requests. Patrick filed 255 FOIs as a Senator. He's considering a run for Adelaide lord mayor. He also owns a bookie shop off and racing.
Daniel Ward has recently deleted some of his previous work from his Sixth Floor chambers page. He worked as General Counsel at the PM's Office under Scott Morrison and Malcolm Turnbull. Also, he worked for George Brandis and represented Morrison, Dominic Perrottet and Mick Gatto in legal battles. He recently acted as a junior to Guy Reynolds SC. The new government will not be getting briefs from him.
