Naas review: Champ Kiely makes all for Grade One gold

Champ Kiely won the Lawlor's Of Naas Novice Hurdle. Grangeclare West finished in fifth place. The horse was previously unbeaten. It was the ninth win for Willie Mullins. The winner was a 100-30 favourite for the Royal Bond at Fairyhouse. He won a Limerick bumper, a Galway maiden hurdle and Grade Three at Tipperary on his first three starts under Rules. Coral halved Champ Kies' odds for Ballymore Novices’ HURDLE at Cheltenham to 8-1 from 16- 1.

Telmesomethinggirl won the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Beginners Chase. It was her first victory since scoring at the 2021 Cheltenham Festival. The other two runners, Choice Of Words and Pont Aval, failed to complete the course.  Rachael Blackmore will work on her jumping. She made a mistake at second obstacle.
