While a lot is still left to be decided in the American League and National League Major League Baseball Playoff races, one particular race for the MLB postseason has really caught our attention: The race for the NL Wild Card berths.

Entering games on Tuesday, Sept. 19, five teams are within two games of each other for the fifth and sixth spots in the 2023 NL postseason (the final two berths): The Arizona Diamondbacks, Chicago Cubs, Cincinnati Reds, Miami Marlins and San Francisco Giants.

Which teams will earn those final MLB postseason berths?

Take a look at the current NL Wild Card standings, MLB Playoffs odds and upcoming schedule to get an idea of which teams could land those final spots in the 2023 MLB Playoffs.

The Atlanta Braves (NL East) and Los Angeles Dodgers (NL West) have clinched their divisions and the Milwaukee Brewers (NL Central) have a 6-game lead in their division.

The Philadelphia Phillies appear to have a hold on the first Wild Card berth in the league, leaving the two final Wild Card spots still up for grabs in a close race involving those five aforementioned teams.
