NBA best bets, prop bets today (back Grizzlies, Nuggets on Christmas slate)

Today's NBA schedule features five games. Philadelphia 76ers and New York Knicks play at Madison Square Garden at noon ET. Phoenix Suns and Denver Nuggets play the last game at 10:30 p.m. ET today.

Grizzlies are tied with the Warriors at the top of the Western Conference. The Grizzlies have the best defensive rating in the league since the start of December. They have Jaren Jackson Jr. back from the injury and Desmond Bane, who played well in Friday's 25-point win over the Suns.

Devin Booker is set to return for the Suns from a groin injury. Michael Porter Jr. is expected to play for a second consecutive game. The Nuggets are 20-11 straight-up at home this season and their average margin of victory in their own arena is +9.7. Phoenix has not been a good team on the road this year, going just 5-9-0 SU and 6-8-1 ATS.

Isiah Hartenstein is averaging 5.5 rebounds per game. He has gone past this number in seven of his last eight games. The Knicks are No. 3 in defensive rating at MSG over their last 10 games and are playing there tonight.

Donte DiVincenzo is expected to play 30 minutes against the Grizzlies on Sunday. He is one of the lead ball handlers on the Warriors' team.
