NBA bettor wins insane parlay worth $11,000 on pocket change bet

Save your dollar menu money next time; this NBA bettor turned it into a new car.

Well, perhaps not too new given the current prices, but this four-leg parlay is one of the wilder wins you’ll see all season.

A $2.50 bet paid out $11,074.22 on FanDuel Sportsbook when all four players scored the first bucket on Tuesday.

The bet had surreal odds, 4,428:1; this is about a 0.02 percent chance implied of this bet hitting.

The parlay was on all four players, Stephen Curry, Jerami Grant, Zach Collins, and Brandon Ingram, to score the first basket in their games.

The bet hit when Grant nailed a 3-pointer for the Trail Blazers, and Warriors star Stephen Curry hit a running layup to go up 2-0.

Oddly enough, those two baskets and Collins’ came after their teams lost the tip-off, which theoretically would have significantly affected the odds had they known this would happen pregame.

With a .02 percent chance of hitting, this bet is one of the more unlikely lottery ticket-type bets we’ve seen in some time.

At over 4,000/1 this bet is slightly more likely than a nearly $1 million win that occurred earlier in the season.

That bet was a winner for one lucky NBA bettor who turned a $166 bet into $996,000 and was a 19-leg same-game parlay on the Lakers-Jazz game.

As we mentioned then, this bet is the exception, not the rule, but is still an impressive of a win as they come.
