NBA Odds: Hornets-Lakers prediction, odds and pick

The Los Angeles Lakers host the Charlotte Hornets in the final game before Christmas. The Hornets have the second-worst record in NBA at (8-24). The Lakers are coming off of a loss to the Sacramento Kings 134-120. LA is (13-18) on the season and is 13th in Western Conference behind the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Terry Rozier is questionable for tonight's game. Dennis Smith Jr. is also questionable with a left ankle sprain. If Rozer and Smith are out, the team will need to rely on LaMelo Ball. He has only played in eight games this season. Kelly Oubre Jr., Gordon Hayward and Kelly Kelly are the other players who can play well together.

Both LeBron and Russell Westbrook are probable for tonight's game. The Lakers lost to the Kings. They are 8-7 at home and Charlotte is 4-10 on the road. Juan Toscano-Anderson is out and Austin Reaves is questionable.

Lakers will hold on and narrowly defeat the Hornets.
