NBA Odds: Lakers vs. Magic prediction, odds and pick

The Los Angeles Lakers (13-20) visit the Orlando Magic ( 13-21) on Tuesday night at 7:10 pm ET. Los Los Angles has lost four consecutive games and dropped to 13th place in the Western Conference. Orlando has won eight of their last nine games but still sits in 13rd place. This will be the first of two meetings between the teams this season.

Lakers are struggling without Anthony Davis. They lost to Magic on Christmas Day. LeBron James was the only starter to score more than nine points. Austin Reaves has been playing well recently. He is shooting 65% from the field and 50% on 3-point range. He has scored 18 points in the last four games. The Lakers need him to get involved early. Lakers-Magic is a good bet. It's a game with a high point spread. LA won't cover the spread on the Christmas day. Los Angeles is without Davis, but they need to cover tonight.

Orlando Magic are 8-1 in their last 9 games. They are 2.5 games back of 10th place in the East. The Magic need to cover the spread against the Lakers.
