NBA on TNT Tuesday Preview: Bulls/Nets and Wolves/Suns Picks

The NBA on TNT returns tonight at 6 PM CT. DeMar DeRozan leads the Chicago Bulls against Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets. Jacque Vaughn will coach the Nets tonight. Ime Udoka will be the next coach for the team. Minnesota Timberwolves take on Devin Booker and Phoenix Suns.

Bulls are favored to beat Nets. Nets are getting 58% of the overall betting handle, but 50% percent of total bets placed. The public is split on the game, while pros are favoring Nets, who are under-performing defensively. Bulls are without Lonzo Ball, Andre Drummond, Zach LaVine, Ayo Dosunmu, Coby White and A.yo Dusunma.

The Nets are healthier and the team that fired its coach is going to cover the over. Chicago hasn't played its full team together much this season. Brooklyn is coming off three days rest and Chicago is on the tail end of a back-to-back.

Timberwolves are getting just 3.5 points despite a poor showing on the road against San Antonio Spurs. The Suns are receiving 64% of the handle on spread and 69% on overall wagers. Deandre Ayton, Jae Crowder, Ish Wainright and Torrey Craig are out for Phoenix. Kyle Anderson and Jordan McLaughlin are both questionable for Minnesota.

Claxton played 31 minutes last night for the Nets in Simmons' absence and delivered a fantastic performance of 19 points and nine rebounds. Claxton will play a lot of screener and get active on the glass against the Bulls.

Karl-Anthony Towns has been the team's most impactful passer this season. Towns is averaging 5.6 assists per game in the Wolves' last five games. Phoenix has double-teamed Towns on catch in post in his previous games, but he should get a much smaller Suns team tonight.
