NBA on TNT Tuesday Preview: Warriors/Knicks, Grizzlies/Nuggets

The NBA on TNT is back tonight starting at 6:30 PM CT. Golden State Warriors will play without Steph Curry, who is out with a left shoulder sublaxation. Memphis Grizzlies take on Nikola Jokić and the Denver Nuggets at 9 PM.

Golden State Warriors are playing at home against the Knicks. The Warriors won the last game against Toronto Raptors. New York has a league-leading 101.4 defensive rating in December and the second best net rating at 10.3 this month. Golden State is playing without Stephen Curry. Andrew Wiggins and Donte DiVincenzo are injured. The Knicks have their last seven games behind a 101 defensive ranking and second-best net ratings. They are 19th in offensive rating and last in turnover rate and true shooting percentage. Steve Kerr’s team has surrendered 124, 128, 125 and 118 points in their four losses.

Golden State Warriors are the favorite to beat the Knicks. The Warriors have won 12 of their last 13 games over 221. The Knicks are sixth in fewest 3PM allowed and first in opponent 3-point percentage this month. Golden State has two of the best shooters in Thompson and Poole, two very good defenders in Green and Looney, and a solid enough bench.

Grizzlies are getting 68% of the handle on the spread and 56% on overall wagers. The public likes Memphis, but the sharps are buying even higher on Grizzlies. Over 235.5 is receiving just 59% compared to 72% for the total. Money is coming in on under ahead of 9 PM CT tip.

Denver and Memphis are playing each other tonight. Memphis has won nine of its last 10 games. Denver has lost four of last five. The Grizzlies are first in net rating this month.
