NBA parlay picks March 15: Back Kawhi Leonard’s Clippers in showdown vs. Warriors

Tonight’s NBA slate features seven games and we’ve cooked up a three-leg parlay at +233 odds for it.

The pregame narrative: The main event of the night is a showdown featuring the Golden State Warriors at the Los Angeles Clippers. We’re playing the home side as underdogs on a short spread and looking to capitalize on the defending champs’ road woes. We’ve got two more plays backing the Sacramento Kings and Boston Celtics.

NBA odds as of 1:51 p.m. ET on 03/15/2023.

NBA parlay picks

Parlay: Clippers +4.5 + Kings +4.5 + Celtics moneyline (+233)

Clippers +4.5 (-235): The Warriors are an astonishingly bad 7-26 on the road and haven’t won away from home since January 30.

Against a Clippers team with a healthy Paul George and Kawhi Leonard, we’ll gladly look to take advantage of this trend.

Los Angeles (36-33) has not lived up to expectations and is in a fight to avoid going through the play-in tournament. But this is a team that rightfully relies on its two stars, George and Leonard, and that duo has missed a significant amount of time.

George has played 52 of the team’s 69 games and Leonard has been limited to 41. When they are on the court, particularly together, this team is elite.

The Clippers, who have been off since Saturday, have won three straight following a five-game skid that included a loss to the Warriors. The teams have met twice this season, with the Warriors dropping the last matchup in Los Angeles in February.

While we like the Clippers to win at -137, we will play this safer for extra protection against Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Co.

Other parlay legs

Kings +4.5 (-190): The Bulls are at home (where they are 18-15) and haven’t played since Saturday, giving them some fresh legs for this matchup.

But that’s not enough for us to get excited about against the West’s No. 3 seed.

Sacramento has been strong on the road, going 19-13, with straight-up wins in six of its last seven away from home. The Kings have the conference’s second-best ATS mark on the road (20-12) and can be had at a good price tonight.

But for some slight cushion, we’ll back the NBA’s No. 1 offensive team as an underdog on an alt spread.

Celtics ML (-195): Taking Boston to win at -195 isn’t an attractive play but it certainly becomes one when wrapped inside a parlay.

The Celtics are a road beast, sporting a 21-13 record away from TD Garden. Their 19 wins as a road favourite are the most in the NBA and they should be hungry after losing the second leg of their six-game road trip to the lowly Houston Rockets on Monday.

Minnesota is 14-17 in games against teams with a .500 record or above.
