NBA picks: Bulls vs. Celtics prediction, odds, over/under, spread, injury report for Tuesday, Nov. 28

The Chicago Bulls (5-13) will head on the road to face off against the Boston Celtics (13-4) in their final matchup of the NBA In-Season Tournament group stage. The Bulls have already been eliminated from knockout contention, going winless in their first three tournament games. The Celtics are still alive, sitting in second place in East Group C with a record of 2-1, just behind the group leaders Orlando Magic.

The Bulls will be missing Dalen Terry (knee) while Zach LaVine (foot) and Alex Caruso (foot) are both listed as questionable. On the Celtics side, Jrue Holiday (ankle) is questionable while Kristaps Porzingis (calf) is out.

The Celtics are heavy favorites by 13.5 points, priced at -850 on the moneyline while the visiting Bulls come in at +575. The point total is set at 220 at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Bulls vs. Celtics, 7:30 p.m. ET

Pick ATS: Celtics -13.5

While this game will count toward the regular season standings, the Bulls don’t have much else to play for as they’ve already been eliminated from advancing to the knockout rounds. The Celtics, having lost to the Magic last week, have no path to finishing at the top of the group, but they still have a fighting chance at snatching up the wildcard spot. They’ll have to make up a ton of ground, though, as their point differential sits at zero right now while other Eastern Conference teams like the Knicks (+18), Heat (+11), Nets (+8), and Cavaliers (+6) are all in better positions ahead of tonight’s action.

Regardless, the Celtics will need a huge win tonight if they want a chance at clinching the wildcard spot. The Bulls are a great team to have on the docket in that situation, as their 18th-ranked defense should allow the Celtics to run up the score, especially if they’re missing the likes of LaVine and Caruso.

Take the Celtics to win and cover the spread at home as they look to stay alive in the tournament.

Over/Under: Over 220

Boston needs a huge statement win over the Bulls as they look to keep their tournament run going. The Bulls have gone over the total in three of their last four outings, and while the Celtics have finished under in their last three straight, expect the home side to show no mercy and keep their starters on the floor up until the final buzzer. Take the over at TD Garden.
