NBA picks: Magic vs. Cavaliers prediction, odds, over/under, spread, injury report for Wednesday, Dec. 6

The Orlando Magic (14-6) continue their road trip on Wednesday with a game against the Cleveland Cavaliers (11-9). Tipoff from Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland is set for 7 p.m. ET and the game will air locally.

Orlando has already ruled out two players. Point guard Markelle Fultz will miss the game due to a knee injury, while Wendell Carter Jr. won’t play due to a finger injury. Power forward Jonathan Isaac is questionable with a right ankle sprain.

Cleveland’s starting five should be fine, but they will be playing with limited depth. Shooting guard Caris LeVert has already been ruled out with a knee injury, and SG Ty Jerome won’t play due to an ankle injury. Power forward Dean Wade is questionable also with an ankle injury.

The Cavaliers are 4-point favorites at DraftKings Sportsbook. Cleveland is installed at -180 on the moneyline, while Orlando is the +150 underdog. The point total is set at 223.5.

Magic vs. Cavaliers, 7 p.m. ET

Pick ATS: Magic +4

Orlando’s nine-game win streak ended Saturday when they lost 129-101 on the road to the Brooklyn Nets. Cleveland is coming off a nine-point win over the Detroit Pistons. This will be the first of four games these teams will play against each other. Orlando is 15-5 against the spread this season, while Cleveland is 7-11-2.

The Magic haven’t done much losing this season, but they are 4-1 ATS coming off a loss, and the Cavs are 3-7 coming off a win. Orlando should cover in this road matchup.

Over/Under: Over 223.5

Orlando and Cleveland both hover toward the bottom half of the league in percentage of games that hit the over/under. The Magic hit the over in 52.6% of their games, with the Cavaliers sitting perfectly at 50%. Orlando has scored at least 130 points in three of their last four games. Cleveland has scored at least 105 in three of their last four and at least 110 in two of their last three. This game should hit the over.
