NBA picks: Nuggets vs. Clippers prediction, odds, over/under, spread, injury report for Wednesday, Dec. 6

Two Western Conference contenders clash when the Denver Nuggets (14-7) meet the Los Angeles Clippers (9-10) Wednesday. Both teams are trending in different directions coming into this matchup. The Nuggets are 5-5 in their last 10 after a strong start, while the Clippers have gone 6-4 in their last 10 after a terrible start. These teams did meet a week ago, with the Nuggets defeating the Clippers 113-104.

Jamal Murray is questionable for the Nuggets after missing the last two games with a hamstring injury, while Aaron Gordon is probable with a heel issue. The Clippers are good on the day-to-day front.

The Clippers are 1-point favorites at DraftKings Sportsbook, with the total coming in at 227.5. Los Angeles is -115 on the moneyline while Denver is -105.

Nuggets vs. Clippers, 10 p.m. ET

Pick ATS: Nuggets +1

Denver just beat the Clippers a week ago without the services of Murray, Gordon and Nikola Jokic. It was former Clippers Reggie Jackson and DeAndre Jordan who roasted LA in that game. Jackson could get the start again if Murray is unable to suit up, but Jokic being in this matchup is what swings it Denver’s way. The Clippers are a much better team at home, and the Nuggets have struggled on the road with a 3-9 ATS mark. However, back Denver to get the job done again here.

Over/Under: Under 227.5

There should be more firepower for the Nuggets in this game with Jokic and Gordon back, but I still like the under with these teams. Denver is 9-12 to the under this year, and seems due after going over its totals in the last three games. The Clippers are the most under-friendly team in the league at 6-12-1 on overs. Take the under in this contest.
