NBA player props: Best bets for Bucks vs. Knicks Christmas Day featuring Bobby Portis, RJ Barrett, Brook Lopez

The Milwaukee Bucks take on the New York Knicks on Christmas Day at Madison Square Garden. The two teams faced off on December 23, and the Bucks got a 130-111 win on the road. Tipoff is scheduled for noon ET. Here are a few of our favorite player prop bets for the game with odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.

Bobby Portis over 12.5 points (-120)

Portis had a huge game in the Bucks’ most recent matchup against the Knicks, putting up 23 points — a big improvement compared to his season average of 12.9. With that game just a few days in the rearview, I like Portis to have back-to-back strong performances at MSG.

RJ Barrett over 4.5 rebounds (+105)

Barrett is averaging 4.1 rebounds per game this season, and has grabbed five or more boards in each of his last four games, including seven in the Knicks’ Saturday matchup against the Bucks. Look for Barrett to create opportunities under the basket and snag at least five rebounds here.

Brook Lopez under 18.5 points + rebounds + assists (+114)

Lopez has not been a big contributor in any of the Bucks’ three games against the Knicks this season. In his latest matchup against New York, he finished the day with five points, three rebounds, and one assist. The Bucks tend to favor Giannis Antetokounmpo down low so despite Lopez’s higher-scoring games this month, I’m taking the under at plus money here.
