NBA predictions and picks: 76ers vs. Wizards, Clippers vs. Raptors, more

The NBA calendar turns to 2023 by the end of the week. The Nets have overcome their early-season drama to rip off a league-best nine-game win streak. Celtics and Bucks are ahead of them, while the Nuggets are clinging to the No. 1 seed out West behind two-time winner Nikola Jokic.

The NBA has a busy Tuesday with games between 76ers vs. Wizards, Clippers vs Raptors and Grizzlies vs Suns. BetMGM offers some good value bets to make.

The 76ers are on an eight-game win streak. Joel Embiid and James Harden are the main reason for that. Washington has 11 losses in its last 13 games. The Wizards are going to try to score inside and in the mid-range against the elite Sixers defense.

The Clippers are 10-3 straight up when Kawhi Leonard is active this season. In 22 games without him, they are just 10/12 SU/ATS with a -3.5 net rating. Los Angeles has lost by double digits in five of their last nine such games. Kawhie Leonard should play on Tuesday against the Raptors.

Raptors vs. Clippers is a good bet for the Clippers.

Devin Booker is injured and won't play for the Suns on Tuesday. Phoenix lost to Memphis on Sunday. Memphis has won eight of 11 games in December. The Grizzlies beat Phoenix on Friday by 25 points. The Suns lost five of the six games when Booker was injured.
