The Los Angeles Lakers are looking to bounce back from a season of mediocrity. They have a healthy Anthony Davis and LeBron James. Their new head coach Darvin Ham will need to convince his players to buy in to his ideas.

Dallas Mavericks finished their last season in the playoffs. They lost their key point guard Jalen Brunson but they added Christian Wood and Spencer Dinwiddie to their frontcourt. Dallas' calling card last year was their excellent three-point defence.
