Neil Lennon believes that Brendan Rodgers would be a dream managerial appointment for the Republic of Ireland

Brendan Rodgers would be a great replacement for Stephen Kenny as the Republic of Ireland manager. Kenny's reign as Ireland boss has been topsy turvy. Ireland's opening game will be against France this March. Lennon also discussed the likes of Roy Keane and Casemiro, Caoimhin Kelleher's Liverpool future and a number of other topics in the interview with Football Odds.

Neil Lennon would rather have Roy Keane as a manager for the Republic of Ireland than Casemiro. He thinks Keane was one of the best midfielders in the Premier League and a great leader. Casemsiro is a powerhouse midfielder who has won everything bar the World Cup.

Brendan Rodgers would be a great choice for the Northern Ireland job. He has won the FA Cup with Leicester and nearly reached the top four a couple of times. Neil Lennon believes that Rodgers can get a top international job with no problem.
