Nerds Pick Power Five Title Games
Nerds are hoping the Power Five championship games will prove them wrong. There are 11 conference championship matches this year. The season is going to end soon. The only games left are the bowl and playoff games. For many in the SEC, the primary interest is on LSU vs. Georgia in Atlanta. Gene Stallings predicted that the championship game would have upsets that would cost SEC teams national championships. However, it has not proved true. Thanks to Alabama under Nick Saban, SEC has dominated the national championship scene. It's a far cry from when the Southeastern Conference used an NCAA rules loophole to divide the 12 teams into two divisions and play a conference championships game.
