NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell talks Super Bowl, NFL in Phoenix visit

The NFL commissioner Roger Goodell is in Phoenix to talk with local officials and sponsors about the preparation for Super Bowl 57. Los Angeles and Las Vegas are the main markets out West that compete for the Superbowl. Goodell, Michael Bidwill and Jay Parry are in the Phoenix metro area. Arizona is an ideal place to host the event because of the diversity of its community. Super bowl 58 will be at Allegiant Stadium in Las Nevada in February 2024. SoFi Stadium hosted Super Cup 56. It's the fourth time Arizona has hosted the game. State Farm Stadium is among the best venues to play a major event like a Super Superbowl or a Final Four.

Mike Bidwill is the owner of the Arizona Cardinals. He is also the son of Bill Bidwil. Mike is a member of a family that has been active in the NFL for a long time. Goodell praises the family's legacy. Bid will focus on getting the Super Bowl back for the Cardinals and the best weather for Superbowl 57. Bidwill says there have been more than $150 million worth of improvements made to State Farm Stadium for the Super Bowl. Club areas, suites and the video boards have also been upgraded. Goodell is excited about legalized betting on NFL games and streaming of regular season games on Amazon. The 18-34 demographic increased 35% because of the streaming. Goodell is in Phoenix for the Super Bowl.
