Jalen Hurts went 5-for-5 with a touchdown from inside the pocket in preseason Week 1 against the Jets. Hurting won five of the final six starts of last season. Dallas is the favorite to win the NFC East, but they committed 21 penalties against Denver Broncos last game.

Jameis Winston is expected to play in the third game of the season. New Orleans Saints should have a healthy Michael Thomas back after missing last season with an ankle injury. Tom Brady will be working under three new offensive linemen in Week 1. Ryan Jensen, Aaron Stinnie and Ali Marpet are injured. Rob Gronkowski retired and Chris Godwin is injured, so Tampa Bay's preseason favorite has suffered.

Doug Pederson is the new head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars. The team is winning the preseason games. The Jaguars are over 6.5 wins. They are in the AFC South. Their rivals are the Tennessee Titans and Indianapolis Colts.
