NFL Survivor Pool Picks, Strategy Week 10: Avoid the Ravens?

What are the best NFL survivor pool picks for Week 10? Making the right NFL survivor pool picks is crucial and we're here to help with top plays, contrarian picks and teams to avoid.

The Dallas Cowboys and Buffalo Bills are the biggest betting favorites in Week 10 at Caesars Sportsbook, but are they the best picks for your survivor pool? Which team should you avoid this week? We break down the best survivor pool strategy for NFL Week 10.

NFL Survivor Picks for Week 10

Dallas Cowboys

This one is easy. If you have been holding onto the Cowboys, now is the time to strike. Dallas is a massive 16-point favorite at home over the freefalling New York Giants.

The Cowboys blasted the Giants in Week 1 and that's before Big Blue had given up on the season. New York will likely start third-string quarterback Tommy "Don't call me Danny" DeVito. No offense to DeVito but he wasn't a very good college quarterback in two stops at Syracuse and Illinois.

Dallas should roll at home and the only real suspense is if Micah Parsons and Co. send DeVito home in a bodybag.

Buffalo Bills

The Bills have stumbled to a 5-4 record but oddsmakers are still high on them. Buffalo has been one of the largest betting favorites at Caesars Sportsbook in three of the last four weeks. On Monday, the Bills are laying 7.5 points over the Denver Broncos, making them the second biggest favorites in Week 10 behind Dallas as of Tuesday.

I'll be honest, I don't like this Buffalo team long-term. Offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey is doing a terrible job and Josh Allen has already thrown nine interceptions this season.

Still, this feels like a get-right spot for Buffalo. The Broncos upset the Chiefs before their bye week but that game was at home. Now they must travel to Buffalo, where despite the Bills' struggles this year, the team is a perfect 4-0.

The Bills have the toughest schedule in the NFL over the second half of the season. If you have been holding onto Buffalo, this is the week to use them.

Contrarian Pick

Seattle Seahawks

If you have already used Dallas and Buffalo, the team I like this week is the Seattle Seahawks. Seattle is laying six points at home to Washington and I think that spread is a bit low.

The Commanders are coming off a 20-17 win over the two-win Patriots but this is the same squad that lost to the lowly Giants a couple of weeks ago. They will be a facing an angry Seahawks bunch that got blown out by the Ravens in Week 9.

Two weeks ago I gave out the Lions after they got hammered in Baltimore. Detroit was in a good bounce-back spot hosting the Raiders. This is a similar scenario. The Seahawks return home to face a Washington team that can't protect the quarterback.

Sam Howell has been sacked an NFL-high 44 times through nine games. Seattle ranks tied for sixth in sacks with 27. Look for the Seahawks' defense to dominate at home.

Seattle's schedule gets a lot harder, so this is a good week to trust the Seahawks in survivor pools.

Team to Avoid

Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens are rolling right now, although I don't love using them in survivor pools this week.

Baltimore is a 6-point favorite over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday at Caesars Sportsbook. I try to stay away from division games in survivor pools and this is a revenge spot for Cleveland after getting drilled by Baltimore 28-3 back in Week 4 without starting quarterback Deshaun Watson.

The other thing that scares me is these are the NFL's two top defenses. I can see this being a 13-10 rock fight where one or two plays decides the winner.

The Ravens are one of the bigger favorites in Week 10, but I recommend avoiding Baltimore in survivor pools if possible.
