Alexander Ovechkin is looking to become the second-highest goal scorer in NHL history. He has scored 800 goals in his career. Ovi has not scored in last two games. The team is playing against the Red Wings, who have lost five in a row.

Johnny Gaudreau has scored 33 goals in 30 games since moving to Columbus. He is the second-highest scorer for the bottom-dwelling Blue Jackets with 22 points. The Jackets have lost three in a row and will look to Gudreau for a spark against the Stars.

The Vancouver Canucks lost to the Jets on Saturday. Before that, they had won four of five games. J.T. Miller is the team's third-leading scorer but has just one point in his last four games, despite having 10 shots in last three games and will get some chances tonight. The Blues haven't played well defensively this season, ranking 27 in goals allowed (3.65) and 22 in shots against (32.5).

Chandler Stephenson has 29 points on the season, with most of them assists (22). He has six helpers in the last four games, including one against the Islanders on Saturday. He will play against Buffalo tonight.
