Notes On Early Nominations for Australia’s 2022 Spring Racing

The first nominations for the 2022 Melbourne Cup, Caulfield Cup and W.S Cox Plate were announced on Tuesday 2 August. Verry Elleegant, New London and Kyrpios were not included. Cox Plate is the middle event between Caulfield Cup (15 October) and Melbourne Cup. Zaaki and State of Rest are the favourites to win. Anamoe is also in the markets. The nominations for Australia’s 2022 spring racing start on 2 August.
