Nube Negra untroubled at long odds-on in Shloer Chase

Nube Negra won the Grade Two Shloer Chase at Cheltenham today. Edwardstone defected and Nubenegra's main rival Ganapathi was beaten by eight lengths. Nubel Negrra is 12-1 for next month's Grade One Tingle Creek Chase (Saturday 3rd December) at Sandown Park.

Harry Skelton's horse won the Betway Queen Mother Champion Chase. Harry and Terry want to take him to Kempton for the Desert Orchid Chase in March. They were second two renewals ago. The horse can only give his best three times a year. Harry will leave it to Dan and his daughter to make a plan. Protektorat takes on the Gold Cup team next week. It will take six weeks to recover from that. He jumped well and felt good. His horse is very good fresh.Harry rides for a brilliant owner and trainer. She is under no pressure.
