Nuno Santos Goal: It is not every day that you get to see a Rabona goal. Left-wing back Nuno Santos, who plays for Sporting produced an astonishing piece of skill to score an outstanding Rabona goal in the Portuguese Primeira Liga. What was even more awesome to see was that his effort went straight to the top corner. 

The stunning Rabona goal by Nuno Santos was the highlight of Sporting Lisbon’s win against Boavista in the Portuguese Primeira Liga. The left-back scored in the 17th minute to open the scoring proceedings for Sporting.

Marcus Edwards and Youssef Chermiti of Sporting won the ball within their opponent’s half, then worked together to create an attacking move. When Edwards attempted to cut back and find Chermiti, the ball evaded everyone and fell to Nuno Santos’ feet, after which he unleashed a banger to stun everybody around.

It is definitely a goal that will be an early contender for the Puskas Award. There have not been a lot of Rabona goals scored in the recent past and this one will stay in our minds for quite a while. Sporting went onto win the game 3-0.
