Off The Fence: Barry Geraghty 'buzzing' after Constitution Hill demolition in Fighting Fifth Hurdle

Constitution Hill won the Fighting Fifth Hurdle at Newcastle on Saturday. Barry Geraghty is a former stable jockey to Nicky Henderson and prepared the horse at his home before it was sold to owner Michael Buckley. Geraghti allowed his daughters to ride Constitution Hill as a three-year-old. Tony Keenan praised the performance of Rehearsal Chase winner L'Homme Presse. L’Hommep Pressel made a winning seasonal reappearance for the Venetia Williams team at the Newcastle. He was 0.8 seconds slower than Flight Line in the Breeders' Cup Classic.

Barry Geraghty retired after a 24-year career in the saddle. He had 43 Cheltenham Festival successes and won the Gold Cup and Grand National. Barry will be back at At The Races as an ambassador and columnist.
